Glow effect with creative potential

PLA Glow contains luminous powder that absorbs light and makes your prints glow in the dark. After a few hours of exposure to sunlight or UV light, the material charges and emits a soft glow. It’s perfect for signs, decorations, night lamps, and creative models that stand out in the dark.

Easy and reliable printing

This filament offers the same dependable properties as classic PLA – it’s easy to use, produces consistent results, and requires no special equipment. PLA Glow works with most FDM printers and is fully compatible with AMS systems. Avoid AMS Lite, as the material’s slightly higher friction may affect feeding.

Recommended settings

For best results, use a nozzle temperature of 190–230 °C and a build plate temperature of 35–45 °C. Apply glue or a textured plate for better adhesion. Dry the filament at 55 °C for around 8 hours to reduce moisture and improve print quality. A 0.4 mm or larger nozzle is recommended to prevent clogging.

Perfect for decorative projects

Bambu Lab PLA Glow is ideal for prints where appearance is key – such as signage, logos, figurines, jewelry, or art pieces that shine in the dark. It’s less suitable for functional parts exposed to heat or mechanical stress, as PLA has limited heat resistance. The glow effect may fade gradually if not regularly recharged with light.
